Skooter's Restaurant - Friendly Windsor Locks Diner with Delicious Burgers, Seafood & Nostalgic Vibes

Stopped by this Diner during our trip for dinner and we enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast in the morning. Absolutely delicious burgers and amazing pancakes. Both the cooks we saw were welcoming and made some great food. Wish it was close to where we lived because it would quickly become a regular favorite.

This place so cute and small. But nostalgic!!! Great service, yummy food. Milkshake a MUST. had a wonderful visit.

We chose this restaurant for it's proximity to our hotel; however, It turned out to be a very positive experience. The chili, fish and chips and fried whole belly clams were excellent. The seafood was fresh, not frozen. The fried egg and bacon sandwich was good but nothing special. Skooter's smelled heavily of fried food when we entered the establishment and we carried that smell back with us when we left. That wouldn't keep me from going back. The food, especially the seafood, was worth a visit.

Found this cute friendly neighborhood diner in Windsor Locks, CT. Food is great and they have super friendly staff!! I liked this diner so much, I had dinner here two nights in a row, and all the staff remembered my name and what I liked the night before during my second visit!! This is a kind of restaurant you want to have in your neighborhood. I will come back here anytime I am in this area!!!

These people are doing hard work. They are awesome. I like the atmosphere and the taste of food. We had steak sandwiches, reuben and chicken strips.

Decided to check out Skooter’s and it didn’t disappoint. From someone who is visiting from out of state this place is great! I had the corned beef, scrambled eggs and home fries and white toast with an hot chocolate. My server was great and the cook did an amazing job he was very quick on getting my food out and next thing I had it right in front of me. I was able to get seating pretty quick since it was just me but everything from start to finish was very welcoming. Was really affordable as well. If you’re visiting or in the Hartford area give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Very clean and friendly atmosphere. I got french toast and home fries and together it was $15, and the food was really good. I will say, they go heavy on the cinnamon if you order French toast, so you may want to ask for less- but that's just personal preference :) The entire place was clean(including the bathrooms) as well, with nice decor and great staff. Would strongly recommend.

Scooters should be best example for anyone who in restaurant industry. Best food, best costumer service.Our country need restaurants like this ! Our people need to hear beautiful musics they provide as well!
